Fourth Conference/General Assembly

WADMO Conference was planned in coordination with the Fifth Inter-Regional Debt Management Conference organized by UNCTAD on 20-22 June 2005 and the DMFAS Advisory Group meeting on 23 June 2005.
This day devoted to WADMO was an opportunity to reinforce relationships between members and to exchange country experiences. 150 delegates from more than 60 countries attended the Conference, which this year discussed the advantages of integrated financial management systems on debt management and the issue of recruiting, motivating, training and retaining qualified staff in a debt office. It also presented the LAC DEBT GROUP: the Group of Latin American and Caribbean Public Debt Management Specialists. |
